Job Description

A global financial services client is looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join their team in Arlington, VA. This person should have extensive experience supporting java based applications. The ideal candidate will perform software quality assurance testing across banking products, platforms and should be proficient with various automation tools and techniques. The individual should be experienced in functional testing, possess good automation testing skills, and take ownership of items independently while tracking to closure. The candidate will liaise with global teams to understand requirements, create test cases (e.g., unit, component, multi-component), as well as automate and deliver projects. The position requires attention to details, coupled with ownership, to ensure the delivery of high quality applications. Strong written and verbal communication is a must.

Skills and Requirements

-At least 7 years of experience in Quality Assurance engineering

-Experience using JavaScript, Cypress

-Experience in Core Java 1.8+, SQL, Gherkins-Cucumber, JMeter

-Extensive experience creating test cases

-Experience supporting Linux/Unix environment

-Excellent problem solving skills, attention to detail, and eagerness -Financial Services industry experience null
