Container Research Corporation, an AS9100 certified company with over 65 years in business, seeks experienced welders.

The welder will fabricate and assemble metal structures and fixtures, with our product ultimately being used in the defense and aerospace industries.

Qualifications

• Strong skill at steel and stainless-steel welding
• The ability to pass 2G and 3G welding certification tests on .089 steel at the interview.

• A proficient understanding of blueprints and shop math

   

Responsibilities

• Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
• Fabricate
• Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade, such as shielded metal arc and gas metal arc welding equipment.
• Examine workpieces for defects and measure workpieces with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications.
• Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade,
• Develop templates and models for welding projects, using mathematical calculations based on blueprint information.
• Maintain safety.
• Operate safety equipment and use safe work habits.
• Prepare all material surfaces to be welded, ensuring that there is no loose or thick scale, slag, rust, moisture, grease, or other foreign matter.

Full-time, 4x10s Monday through Thursday, 6 AM to 4:30 PM

$23 - $30 / hr depending on experience and skill
