Description:

This position will allow someone to weld on structuring steel tubing and piping for custom gas delivery systems and integrated heat systems. The person will also be welding stainless steel weld fittings. This position will see the right candidate train with the established welding team and will be an equal contributor on the team. Ichor sends out most of its routine and repeatable welds, so what this team tackles is the more complex and custom welds for Ichors customers.

o Welding on stainless

o Welding to .30000, some have .10000

o Thin tubing is what they are welding

o Welding sanitary connections

o .028 to .083 thickness

o Repeatable parts, a lot of them are pretty evolved. They outsource easy to other shops

o Work with custom welds and tougher welds

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Looking for a candidate with 0-4 years experience, and would also be interested in considering someone straight out of a trade school. The person needs to understand Tig Welding and will need to pass a tig test on stainless steel.

o Tig Welding experience.

o Good eye sight

o Not structural hand welder

o Need Tig Welder

o Small stainless fine tune welding

o Would prefer the 1-4 year person

o Need to have their own helmet, don’t need gloves.

o Would take a look at someone who is fresh out of a welding school

Will need to have his/her own welding hood.
