Job Summary

Working as the Director of Dining Services you will be responsible for overseeing the day to day Foodservice operations on the campus of LYONS COLLEGE. You will manage and lead a team of FRESH IDEAS employees and you will be responsible for managing client relationships, profitability of the account, and talent development.

Batesville is home to Lyon College, known for its picturesque campus and community events, including the annual Scottish Festival. Batesville is an outdoor enthusiast’s paradise. The town offers numerous recreational activities such as hiking, canoeing, caving, and fishing. The White River provides a scenic backdrop for many of these activities, and Riverside Park is a popular spot for both locals and visitors. The town is known for its vibrant community events. It hosts the Ozark Foothills FilmFest and the Arkansas Scottish Festival. Batesville also transforms into the "Christmas Capital of Arkansas" every winter, featuring the White River Wonderland with millions of lights, carriage rides, ice skating, and more!

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversees all P&L and budgeting as it pertains to the account

• Maintains excellent relationships with the client

• Works with the Chef and management team in creating nutritious and top quality food for the students

• Implements new culinary programs in conjunction with the Chartwells marketing and culinary teams

• Acts as a liaison between Fresh Ideas, the school administration, staff, students and the community

Preferred Qualifications:

• A.S. or equivalent experience

• Three to five years of foodservice management experience required

• School dining experience preferred

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Financial and business acumen

• Excellent communication skills
