Aerotek Maintenance Technician in Battle Creek, Michigan
Description:
This industrial maintenance technician will be responsible for repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting CNC machines, die casting machines, FANUC robots, hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, robotics, controls, and other manufacturing equipment in a tier-1 automotive manufacturing environment. Wil have to maintain records on PM schedules and read blueprints/schematics regularly. This is a multi-craft maintenance position that will require both mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair along with some PLC and controls work.
Pay/Shift:
Openings on 2nd and 3rd shift
2nd shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
3rd shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Up to $41 an hour depending on experience and certifications
Possible 60-70 hour work weeks; many overtime opportunities available

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Required:
5 years of Machine Repair experience in an industrial setting (hydraulics, pneumatics, blueprints, industrial)
5 years of Electrical troubleshooting experience in an industrial setting (voltage up to 480v and AC/DC motors)
1-2 years of PLC troubleshooting/robotics experience year of reading/interpreting ladder logic
1 year of troubleshooting Robotics
Plus:
PLC Programming - Ability to read/interpret ladder logic
Experience troubleshooting, rebuilding, or repairing CNC and Die casting machines
Journeyman card/degree/technical school or any form of continued education
Forklift/Overhead crane certification
MIG, TIG, Stick, Arc welding experience
