Insight Global Supply Chain OCM Project Manager - Remote in Battle Creek, Michigan

Job Description

Primary objective of this role is to provide comprehensive organizational change management deliverables to support the supply chain organization. Change management communication, events, feedback, and engagement strategies for salaried to line level supply chain employees including specific tactics and detailed step-by-step supporting documentation for change lead champions to execute with minimal guidance. Project is NDA, however the primary problem to solve is keeping employees motivated, focused, and feeling valued with no disruption to business while new processes are learned and implemented. We will be using a hybrid approach to change where we use heavily instructed self service materials, TTT and other strategies to enable employees to lead the change directly, but we must educate those employees about change and enable them very quickly at the same time.

This role will provide the following project support and coordination services:

  • Communications:

o Partner with director of corporate comms to adapt and embed strategies to take high level comms and transform as needed for line level comms through various tactics like stand-up meetings, printed documentation, and outlined instructions in self-serve toolkits for the change leadership teams to deploy.

o Partner, consult and utilize a central repository as well as hard copy documentation with a high focus on user experience.

  • Self Service Toolkit:

o Creation of a highly customized full-service Change Management step by step toolkit to be utilized by change champion leaders with specific instructions for all change components (communication templates and checklists, all employee welfare event outlines, logistical information, completed support materials, communications, Train the Trainer (TTT) instructions and more)

o As components of the toolkit are completed, kick-off training and regular checkup meetings with cross-functional teams will be needed throughout the project to monitor, track, and mitigate.

o Several change management employee welfare focused events and tools will need to be designed with all support materials, communications, logistics, and tools organized and packaged within the toolkit for the change champion leads to drive the execution successfully. Corresponding Train the Trainer (TTT) for each launch will also need to be delivered.

  • Employee Engagement Interventions

o Potential examples include virtual surveys for salaried employees, 1 Button App based Q&A mechanism, Paper based (anonymous box in break rooms) and verbal based collection methods, Kiosks, or text service for questions.

o All platforms need to be built with appropriate branding and accessibility by user groups.

o Develop plan for monitoring and connections with resources. o Develop path for resolutions for all mechanisms (Service Level Agreement -SLA)

Skills and Requirements

10+ years of experience in change management with specific experience in supply chain employees of all levels

Demonstrated understanding of all aspects of manufacturing processes and systems

Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects or programs with full ownership from initiation to completion

Experience in managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Demonstrated strong understanding of change management methodologies and tools

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously Food and Beverage manufacturing experience null
