Finance College Co-Op - Beaverton, MI

Position Description

Job Summary

This position is located in Beaverton, MI. This is a longer-term co-op that will start in May and end in December 2024/January 2025.

Specific duties will encompass providing cost analysis, standard cost establishment, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. This position is responsible with aspects of cost accounting including variance analysis and month-end closing. Provide staff and divisional management, accurate and timely information that will assist them in monitoring performance in order to reach company established goals and objectives. Complete specially assigned projects by the Site Controller as required. The incumbent should posses accounting knowledge, possess some familiarity with or have the skills and the ability to learn to become familiar with the accounting and ERP manufacturing processes systems along with a comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Excel and some PowerBi.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; required.

• Working towards a Bachelor's Degree in the following disciplines: Finance, Accounting, or Business related; required.

• Must be computer literate in Microsoft Excel; required.

• Having experience using PowerBi; preferred.

• Posses accounting knowledge; preferred.
