Summary

CHS has an exciting opportunity in our Global Grains and Processing Division. We are looking for a Millwright Technician at our Myrtle Grove Grain Terminal.

Compensation Data

Salary Range: $31.77

This is a union role. Wages are based on the collective bargaining agreement.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the execution of all maintenance, repari and construction installation activity for all rocess and infrastructure equipement.

  • Demonstrate the ability to maintain the Terminal at the highest level of proficiency.

  • Ability to keep production operations free of mechanical problems, correcting all that arise, in order to complete qualification.

  • Must demonstrate an advanced knowledge of all plant control, read prints, millwright tool and instruments to complete qualification.

  • Capable of ensuring all Mechanical Safety programs are properly executed, in order to complete qualification.

  • Demonstrate expert ability at troubleshooting all machinery in the plant and its processes in order to complete qualification.

  • Capable of the documentation of performed preventive maintenance.

Minimum Qualifications (required)

  • 2 years of experience working as a millwright in heavy industrial settings such as manufacturing plants, refineries, or mining operations.

Additional Qualifications

  • High School Diploma.

  • Qualified in Industrial Mechanics.

  • Expert ability to trouble shoot equipment.

  • Read Prints.

  • Knowledge or preventative maintenance.

  • Welding.
