Registered Nurse Part Time - Blanding,Utah  

We are looking for a dedicated professional who wants to improve the quality of life for our youth!   Not only does working for Juvenile Justice Services provide a sense of stability and teamwork,we also offer fantastic benefits,work-life balance and a career that is personally rewarding.   An Advanced Practice Registered Nurse within Juvenile Justice Services will diagnose and formulate treatment plans for our youth by assessing physical,mental,social and economic needs of the patients. You shall provide medical consultation to juveniles in need in accordance with the nurse practitioner practice act.  Our Registered Nurses within JJS perform a full range of nursing tasks,in a variety of settings and with a variety of patient groups. They exercise independent and professional discretion with the youth that they work with. Principal Duties

  • Provides direct and/or indirect patient care oriented toward improving or maintaining health and preventing illness.
  • Coordinates clinical activities and follow-up.
  • Provides medical consultation in specialized areas of knowledge.
  • Provides clients with information concerning rights,options,benefits,services,goals and expectations.
  • Adapts program(s) to meet specific needs or concerns.
  • Maintains and updates patient charts,records,and information.
  • Develops or modifies rules,policies,or standards,etc.
  • Administer first aid and/or CPR
  • Communicate information and ideas clearly,and concisely,in writing; read and understand information presented in writing.
  • Enter,transcribe,record,store,or maintain information in either written or electronic form.
  • Follow and apply treatment plans as developed by a licensed professional.
  • Make a decision or solve a problem by using logic to identify key facts,explore alternatives,and propose quality solutions.
  • Speak clearly,concisely and effectively; listen to,and understand,information and ideas as presented verbally.
  • Provide consultation and/or expert advice or testimony.
