Overview

Responsible for the ordering and movement of materials in and out of the department, the operation and cleanliness of the material dryers, and the moisture analysis of materials. Will serve as back up Shipping Coordinator when necessary to ensure efficiency in work flow.

Responsibilities

  • Aids and assists the operation of production while adhering to all company standards and practices
  • Required to perform tasks such as determining materials requirements; locating, preparing, and delivering material
  • Maintaining inventory
  • Replenishing supplies as appropriate
  • Maintains information in computer systems as applicable
  • Fulfills requested tasks
  • Maintains a work environment and work station consistent with stated standards
  • Adheres to applicable 6S standards
  • Duties include organizing, removing un-needed items, cleaning, and sustaining assigned work areas

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED required

Technical School certifications and/or college level technical degree is preferred

Basic experience using Microsoft Office is required
