We are looking for Machine Operators to join a production company in the Blythewood area. If you can ensure the safe and efficient packing of products, while utilizing your experience as a machine operator in a high-speed manufacturing environment; we have the job for you! Must be available for both 1st and 3rd shifts (7pm-7am and 7am-7pm) [not a swing shift]. 2 - 2 - 3 schedule. Please provide resume, requires client interview and resume review.

Responsibilities

As a part of an overall manufacturing team, learn and assist with all aspects of slitting and

rewinding at the highest quality levels. Assist in other areas when needed. Ensures quality

product from slitting to packaging/inspection. Ensures compliance to Safety and GMP

requirements.

Includes the following. Other duties might be assigned:

• Learn how to operate slitter and the rewinder as a member of the Production Team who is

multi-skilled and cross-trained on all department process equipment.

• Develop process trouble shooting including visual defect detection.

• Read and understand work orders for current jobs and upcoming jobs including specifications.

• Maintain accurate paperwork, SAP/ PDC functions for jobs.

• Perform quality checks and make slitter and rewinder adjustments during start-up.

• Perform quality checks and periodically throughout the run and adjust the slitter accordingly to

ensure zero defects to the customer.

• Perform daily and periodic cleaning and preventative maintenance in order to maintain

standards throughout the manufacturing area.

• Observe and make recommendations on all issues regarding safety, quality, waste, and

production.

• Monitor product quality, obtain and measure samples.

• Learn all measurements and begin identifying and resolving visual defects and finish rolls that

do not meet customer quality specifications.

• All other duties appropriate to the position as assigned or required.

The essential functions of this role include:
