POSITION SUMMARY:

Seeking Industrial Electricians for our maintenance department having experience with 480 Volt 3 phase systems, troubleshooting, controls, one-line schematics, conduit bending and installation, some work with PLCs, VFDs, Soft Starters, control panel assembly and compliance with NEC and 70E will be helpful.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES and PREFERRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Troubleshooting ability in continuous processing setting
• Good understanding of 480 Volt 3 phase systems, AC/DC control wiring, AC motors
• Recognize electrical hazards and understanding how to read an arc-flash label
• Maintain electrical systems equipment to meet regulatory codes at federal, state and local level
• Able to read electrical schematics
• Perform conduit bending and installation, including but not limited to EMT, IMC, Rigid
• Must be physically capable of performing work from ladders, scaffolds, lifts and roofs
• Perform installation and maintenance work as part of a team of skilled trade workers
• Must be a self-starter, yet able to follow instructions as directed

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND CERTIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma, Technical School or equivalent
• Must be available to work day or evening shifts, one weekend/month, call-outs, and overtime
