The Advanced Production Technician for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for the manufacturing of specific chemistries used in the medical diagnostics field. This role is critical to the healthcare industry and is critical to allow doctors and lab technicians to diagnose patients quickly and accurately all over the world.

This position is part of the Special Chemistry department located in Carlsbad, Ca and will be on site. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead and influence a team of individual contributors in a GMP regulated environment.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure on time delivery goals are met, review protocols, troubleshooting within the bounds of the quality system.

  • Analyze data & trends and make decisions/improvements within the process based on that data.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree(BA or BS). Focus on chemical and/or biological sciences preferred.

  • 8+ Years related experience in a GMP/GLP formulations/Compounding lab strongly preferred.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

  • Experience in fast paced and dynamic environment.

  • Past working experience and knowledge of government regulated working environments highly desired.

The hourly range for this role is $31.20 – $54.57 This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
