Remedy Staffing Recruiter / Staffing Consultant in Cedar Rapids, Iowa

Remedy Intelligent Staffing is looking for a motivated candidate to join our branch office team in Waterloo to help provide recruiting and staffing support. The recruiters in our locally owned and managed Remedy offices are experts in matching what associates do best with what our client companies value most. Are you interested in human resources, recruiting, or helping people get new jobs? Then we want to talk to you! The recruiter's job is to support our clients by meeting their staffing needs. The recruiter will identify candidates for temporary, temp-to-hire, and direct hire jobs for our clients in the surrounding areas. Location: Waterloo, Iowa *Shift:Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm *Pay: Starting at $18/Hour - salary based on experience *Benefits:insurance, PTO, and 401K match Requirements: The ideal candidate would have experience in telemarketing, B2B selling, retail sales, customer service, or other direct customer contact positions. Previous staffing and management experience is preferred. *Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with assigned clients to provide staff for their needs working under speed to fill expectations
  • Handle all aspects of recruiting, including interviewing, onboarding, completion of hiring paperwork and placement
  • Communicate effectively with associates and clients by phone, email, and text
  • Work with managers, associates, and colleagues to meet client requirements and provide any reporting information as requested
  • Support other branches from the Waterloo office for vacation and peak use coverage
  • Other duties as assigned

* Skill and Experience Responsibilities:*

  • Solid computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office 365
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills including the ability to empathize, coach, and deliver bad news (discipline, ending assignments, etc.) as needed
  • Strong phone skills and understanding and use of email and texting tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate issues with manager(s) and the importance of documentation
  • Must be comfortable working with social media platforms and willing to post information about Remedy
