Job Description

We’re seeking an administrative support professional who values stability and will embrace this role long term. This Builder Services Representative provides valuable assistance to our field personnel through a variety of administrative tasks, such as fielding calls, creating purchase orders, filing and communicating information accurately between team members.

Responsibilities include:

• Interface effectively via phone and email with construction field supervisors, vendors, subcontractors, and management

• Place extra orders for Builders (Construction Superintendents) with Suppliers / Vendors

• Resolve invoice problems with Suppliers / Vendors

• Coordinate Supplier deliveries

• Maintain Supplier / Vendor pricing in the purchasing system

• Prepare weekly and monthly reports as necessary

• Maintain Supplier / Vendor information

• Handle National Account purchasing program for the division

  Successful candidate will possess:

• High school diploma or equivalent GED

• Proven ability to manage many moving parts in a professional setting with multiple ongoing priorities

• Clear and concise communication with internal and external customers

• Ability to work efficiently and competently with numerous interruptions

• Efficient and effective follow-up and organization skills to meet and exceed deadlines

• Demonstrated experience taking initiative to get things done and accomplish tasks without having to be asked several times

• Positive, enthusiastic attitude and strong work ethic

• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and basic computer knowledge. Able to pick up software quickly.

• Past experience in the home building or construction industry is a plus, but not required
