Founded 75 years ago, WaterSaver Faucet manufactures precision faucets and valves for science laboratories.  Our sister company, Guardian Equipment, was founded 45 years ago and manufactures industrial safety equipment.  We have been family-owned for three generations and are the largest players in our two industries.

We love Chicago and have always been here.  We have two state-of-the-art facilities totaling 200,000 square feet in River North.  WaterSaver Faucet is at Erie and Halsted Streets, while Guardian Equipment is at North Branch and Division Streets on Goose Island. Both companies have gated off-street parking, are close to the Kennedy Expressway (I90), and have easy access to public transportation.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assembly of water faucet and pressure valve components using powered and manual hand tools, such as air screwdrivers, impact wrenches, and power drills 

  • Visually inspect component parts for defects prior to assembly

  • Follow written and verbal work instructions

  • Identify parts required to complete assembly

  • Notify supervisor of part shortages

  • Light assembly of smaller products, subassembly of components, picking and packing parts, etc. 

    Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Must have basic math skills and computer skills

  • Good communication skills - English required

    Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Manufacturing experience 

    Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to Lift up to 35 pounds.

  • Other physical demands of the job include, but are not limited to, bending, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and walking.

    Pay and Benefits:

  • Starting salary is $16.18 or more, depending on experience.

  • Pay rate can increase by $1.25 per hour for perfect attendance
