Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in San Diego, CA. This position offers the opportunity for growth and advancement within our company.

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently.

• Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents.

• Verify accuracy of billing data and resolve discrepancies.

• Ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices.

• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.

• Maintain organized records and files of invoices, payments, and transactions.

• Assist with month-end closing processes as needed.

• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve payment issues and inquiries.

• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding accounts payable processes.

• Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the accounts payable function.

  Requirements

• Previous experience in accounts payable or related field.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
