Position Summary:

Responsible for the recruitment process from applicant tracking through onboarding.  Ensures a smooth and professional transition for applicants and hiring managers while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations/standards both internal and external.  Serves as an expert representative for the agency.

Position Description:

  • Ensure a smooth transition from pre-hire through onboarding process
  • Consistent focus on recruiting sources, social media and advanced internet sourcing
  • Coach and collaborate with internal customers to ensure best possible applicant is hired
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules and policies
  • Assist with interpretation of applicable policies and procedures
  • Review, document, and communicate sensitive information in confidential and professional manner
  • Utilize and monitor the hiring process through electronic applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Attend career fairs, networking events, classroom presentations and other community events
  • Screen candidates for follow-up and on phone or in person as appropriate
  • Analyze and interpret data to identify issues/trends and apply course correction as needed
  • Participate in Program events as needed during and outside normal business hours
  • Other duties as assigned

     

Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to utilize technology to manage data and assist in communication
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with effective interpersonal skills
  • Ability to problem solve and multi-task
  • Knowledge of fundamental HR principles
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and demands effectively
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a wide variety of settings
  • Knowledge of specific areas of focus (behavioral health, corrections, housing) as applicable
  • Ability to handle sensitive inquiries and information in a confidential and professional manner
  • Ability to interface professionally with funder/referral sources and executive/boar of trustee leadership

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Related field or equivalent education/experience
  • 1 plus years experience in Human Resources preferred
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software
  • Valid drivers license and current auto insurance

Essential Functions/Physical Demands:

  • Positional: Driving in accordance with job duties assigned. Occasional standing and walking. Constant sitting.
  • Gross Mobility: Rare climbing, or crawling. Infrequent balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching. Frequent to constant reaching and handling.
  • Sensory: Rare tasting/smelling. Infrequent use of color vision. Occasional use of far visual acuity, depth perception, and field of vision. Frequent use of near and midrange visual acuity, and visual accommodation. Frequent to constant talking.
