Our client, in Colchester VT is seeking a warehouse associate to join their team. As a warehouse associate, you will be part of the shipping and receiving team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, good attendance and be reliable which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Part time Warehouse Associate

Location: Colchester VT

Pay Range: 18.00 an hour

Tues - Sat 1pm-5pm

What’s the Job?

• Making sure freight gets to the proper place

• Assist with shipping and receiving activities, unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders.

• Read customer orders, work orders and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered or ship.

• Ensure warehouse is accessible, and safe for employee and customer traffic, adhere to safety issues.

• Monitor daily pickups and deliveries. Verify that the loads are in good condition and are on time.

What’s Needed?

• Basic written and verbal communication skills

• Dock or warehouse experience

• Experience unloading trucks or trailers

• Experience using hand held scanners

• Ability to apply critical thinking to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal or diagram form.

• Ability to lift up to 75lbs
