About You

• Possess a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in public tax accounting.
• Hold relevant educational qualifications and certifications that support your proficiency in tax accounting.
• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of tax laws and regulations, with a regimented method for keeping current.
• Exhibit proficiency in tax preparation and research software to effectively perform job duties.
• Effectively communicate verbally and in written form, emphasizing clarity and completeness.

Your Impact

As a seasoned tax professional with a proven track record, you bring a wealth of expertise to decipher and resolve complex tax challenges. Additionally, you have the insight to set up tax accounts strategically, ensuring compliance and optimizing financial efficiencies for clients and organizations. At a minimum, you:

• Oversee and maintain the company's sales tax compliance in all states. This includes thorough reviews and approvals of sales tax exemptions.
• Ensure the company's adherence to both Federal and State income tax regulations. This involves providing income tax planning services, estimating tax payments, and meticulously reviewing all tax returns.
• Manage all property tax-related activities, including timely filing of tax returns and renditions, review of tax registers, and collaboration with appraisal districts as necessary.
• Uphold the company's compliance with payroll tax requirements, ensuring all payroll-related tax obligations are met.
• Facilitate bi-weekly payroll processing, verifying that timesheets are submitted accurately and that labor postings align with payroll records.
