TEKsystems Healthcare Call Center in Columbia, South Carolina

Description:

Responsible for responding to customer inquiries. Inquiries may be non-routine and require deviation from standard screens, scripts, and procedures. Performs research as needed to resolve inquiries. Reviews and adjudicates claims and/or non-medical appeals. Determines whether to return, deny or pay claims following organizational policies and procedures. Will be answering inbound calls (no outbound calls) between 50-75 a day and 20-25 on slow days. Calls will be longer in nature and require research and explanation to the customer to resolve the issue and questions.

Work Environment:

$15.50- 16.50/HR

Training Schedule; Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm.

After training: Monday - Friday 8 hours shift between 8am-6pm

Weekly pay and Full benefits after 30 days of employment.

  • Provides prompt, accurate, thorough and courteous responses to all customer inquiries.

  • Performs research as needed to resolve inquiries.

  • Ensures effective customer relations by responding accurately, timely and courteously to telephone, written, web, or walk-in inquiries.

  • Accurately documents inquiries.

  • Initiates or processes adjustments or performs other research as needed to resolve inquiries.

  • Coordinates with other departments to resolve problems.

  • Responds to, researches and/or assists with priority inquiries and special projects as required by management.

Additional Experience:

High School or GED (Required)

Customer service/call center experience

Needed requirements/experience- call center, customer service, computer knowledge, Microsoft office, critical thinking skills.

Must be able to quickly navigate computer systems and able to type minimum of 35-40 WPM.

Nice to have: Claims, insurance, Medicare/Medicaid experience
