Shift Hours - 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM OR 3:00 PM - 10:00 PM

JOB SUMMARY

• A line cook is responsible for the daily preparation of food items in the cooler/refrigerator, freezer & dry goods.
• Basic understanding of professional cooking and previous prep or line cook experience required.
• Sets up station according to restaurant guidelines.
• Prepares all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner.
• Follows recipes, portion controls, and presentation. Restocks all items as needed and monitors inventory.
• Cleans and maintains station in practicing good safety, sanitation, organizational skills.
• Has understanding and knowledge to properly use and maintain all equipment in the kitchen.
• Assist with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, walk-in coolers and all storage areas.
• Performs additional responsibilities as requested by manager.
• Must have professional communication skills, ability to take directions and ability to work in a team environment.
