Robert Half Director of Financial Reporting in Cranbury, New Jersey

Description

Robert Half is seeking a Director of Financial Reporting they will be responsible for managing all aspects of financial reporting for the organization. This includes overseeing the preparation and distribution of financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and providing strategic guidance on financial reporting matters.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS).

  • Manage the preparation and filing of periodic reports with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), such as Form 10-K, Form 10-Q, and Form 8-K, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and disclosure obligations.

  • Stay current on accounting standards and pronouncements issued by regulatory bodies (e.g., FASB, SEC), and provide guidance on the implementation and interpretation of complex accounting issues, including revenue recognition, lease accounting, and financial instrument accounting.

  • Develop and maintain effective internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR) to ensure the integrity of financial information and compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements or other relevant regulations.

    Requirements • Must possess significant experience in a VP/Director of Finance role or similar senior-level finance positions

• Proficiency in using '3M' software is required

• Strong knowledge of Accounting Software Systems is essential

• Experience with 'ADP - Financial Services' is a must

• Demonstrated expertise in Capital Expenditure (CapEx) management

• Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems

• Familiarity with various accounting functions and principles

• Experience in auditing, including internal and external audits

• Strong knowledge of budget processes and financial forecasting

• Expertise in capital management and cash flow analysis

• Excellent leadership, strategic planning, and organizational skills

• Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities

• Must have a high level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability

• Ability to work under pressure, plan personal workload effectively and delegate.
