Do you have experience in AR, Credit and Collections? If so, we have an amazing opportunity with a client of ours in the upstate who is looking for individuals with strong experience in that field. Your main focus in this role would be to ensure the smooth operation of our accounts receivable processes, which includes the accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications, maintenance of customer credit records and resolution of customer credit inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain customer credit files

• Monitor all customer accounts - put action plan together for collections processes if accounts fall delinquent.

• Review aging report on a daily basis

• Review customer credit applications - analyze credit history and worthiness.

• Work closely with the finance department and sales team to obtain payment from customer

• Order releases.

• Collection on past due accounts - could range anywhere from 30 days + depending on the payment terms in place with customer

• Process and apply customer payments

• Reconcile AR accounts

• Review AR KPI's

• Send invoices and statements as needed to customers

• Carry out additional credit and collections focused tasks as needed

• Large ERP and Excel experience are preferred

• Contract to hire

• Full-time, Monday-Friday

• Attire: Business Casual

• No travel required

  Requirements

• Proficient in Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience in Commercial Collections

• Knowledge of Aging Reports

• Experienced in Account Reconciliation

• Ability to prepare Journal Entries

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is preferred.
