Purpose The biomechanics group is seeking an engineering technician for the crash test dummy laboratory. In addition to maintaining, preparing, and qualifying dummies for testing, this lab also assists in the development and evaluation of new crash test dummies and procedures. Engineering technicians provide technical support for engineers supporting in such areas as research programs, equipment design, test development, and testing. This engineering technician would be responsible for qualifying dummies for testing programs, assembly and repair, troubleshooting, and reporting.
