Job/Position DescriptionCommunity Care Worker IVOpen to Current Region 11 CCSE Employees Only Serves as an advanced worker in providing direct delivery and contract services to Long Term Care Services individuals. Duties include establishing eligibility for social services, completing needs assessment and making referrals to contract or community agencies. Reviews and responds to legislative and non-legislative inquiries. Additional duties may include serving as acting supervisor in the absence of the unit supervisor, supervising clerks or technicians, reading cases, providing assistance and policy interpretation for other staff, training new workers or completing special reports. Work includes operating a computer.
