[Spherion Staffing has an Accountant position available in the Fargo area. The Accountant [is responsible for complex accounting tasks, including the financial statement close process, preparing, and analyzing financial data, reviewing and improving financial workflows, creating financial forecasts, and assisting the Controller and CFO through various projects that support the organizations mission. This highly visible and dynamic position will be instrumental in the companys continued success, with an opportunity to be a part of a fast-paced and growing international organization.

**[Responsibilities:

[-Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries -Resolve internal and external discrepancies by making reclassification or adjusting journal entries -Manage monthly deposits and review and approve check runs -Complete monthly bank account reconciliations -Assist the Controller with inventory management and reporting -Assist other members of the Accounting and Finance Team on an as needed basis [-Prepare monthly budget to actual reports with accompanying analysis [-Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for three operating companies and the parent company -Partner with the CFO and Controller on annual budget and quarterly estimate preparation -Create and maintain financial dashboards to track and report key financial and operating metrics -Analyze business operations and trends as requested by company leadership -Prepare operating metrics and data for Company Leadership -Prepare and update standard operating procedure documents to support business continuity and operational efficiency -Champion change management opportunity for improvement through adaptation to technology and workflow -Research, recommend and implement new processes and systems to enhance business operations ]{tahoma",sans-serif"=""}]{tahoma",sans-serif"=""}]{tahoma",sans-serif"=""}]{tahoma",sans-serif"=""}**]{tahoma",sans-serif"=""}]{tahoma",sans-serif"=""}]{tahoma",sans-serif"=""}]{tahoma",sans-serif"=""}
