• Provide front line customer service at the Library Service Desk and provide circulation assistance.
• Oversee ingoing and outgoing materials.
• Lead and coordinate Library opening and closing procedures.
• Supervise and train student employees.
• Apply, uphold, and communicate policy to patrons and handle patron complaints and concerns.
• Perform special library projects and support.
• This position requires evening supervision when working closing shifts.
• This position requires the ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.

• A High School Diploma or GED.
• 3 years of providing advanced customer service.
• A high level of interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in computer applications and equipment.

• Experience working in an academic library, or, employment in an academic setting.
• Familiarity with and knowledge of library databases.
• Experience with library management systems (ILLiad, OCLC, Ex Libriss Alma and Primo).
