Position: Cost Accountant

Location: Fort Worth, TX

Job Description: The Cost Accountant will develop, manage, implement, and maintain production standards, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provides expert administrative support to the production team.

  • Streamlines and improves efficiency of processes and procedures.

  • Collaborates with Project Managers Production Team Leaders, and Supply Chain.

  • Oversees the costs of materials and other goods, services, and activities.

  • Oversees Raw Material, Finished Goods, and Fixed Assets Inventory counts.

  • Unifies processes and procedures across all ledgers.

  • Tracks production supply spending and ensures timely closing of end of month for production.

  • Assure compliance of daily activities with effective measurements in place including performance of AP resources.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and/or relevant experience.

  • 2-3 years of experience in a production environment.

  • Advanced knowledge of excel.

  • Ability to work in a team environment.

  • Self-motivation and strong initiative with the ability to work independently.

  • Strong communication and organization skills.

Job Type:

  • Full-time

Supplemental Pay:

  • Bonus pay

Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
