Position Purpose:

Hospice Sales Executive is responsible for leading the sales and marketing efforts of the region/agency to achieve revenue growth for home based services. Has in depth knowledge of the local community and seeks out new business partnerships to generate opportunities for growth, both inside and outside of the Trinity Health system. Will be responsible for selling the capabilities of the agency in support of customers' population health and value based care initiatives.

. What You Will Do:

  • Conduct market analysis; develop sales strategy, goals and account plans in collaboration with the Regional Sales Manager and Executive Director.

  • Conduct pre-call planning to develop targeted, solution-based sales calls, and evaluate results and effectiveness of sales activity.

  • Establish strong relationships with new and existing referral sources.

  • Develops and maintains positive working relationships with facility discharge planning, nursing and medical staff offering home care and/or hospice information and assistance as appropriate.

  • Responsible for screening and accurate completion of referrals to ensure patients meet agency admission criteria and comply with state and federal regulations.

  • Provide Home Care Connect education to patients and family members, acute care staff and physicians, introduces Home Care Connect and obtains consent for virtual monitoring.

  • Works in conjunction with the discharge planning staff to assist patient/family's transition to Hospice

  • Responds to all inquiries regarding Hospice services.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Allied Health, Marketing, Communications, Nursing or related field.

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in sales or marketing, healthcare sales preferred.

  • Proven achiever.

  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills.

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

  • Proficient in use of spreadsheet and presentation software.

  • Ability to consistently demonstrate commitment to the mission and Organizational Code of Ethics, and adhere to the Compliance Program.
