Job Description Summary

NCR Atleos is searching for an Account Executive for a sales territory in the Southeast Area for our banking business. This individual is responsible for order/revenue growth, penetrating/developing new accounts and overall customer satisfaction.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Demonstrates excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to build trusted relationships with C-Suite Executives.

  • Identifies and targets sales opportunities across existing customers and new prospects.

  • Continually fills the sales pipeline with qualified opportunities and executes winning sales campaigns to meet and exceed sales quota metrics.

  • Effectively advises and influences customers through consultative selling techniques; Creates an internal network of relationships with peers, management and internal sales support groups to facilitate.

  • Maintains and grows file value and serves as the principal financial sales representative ensuring the highest level of customer service and satisfaction.

  • Creates demand for the NCR Atleos product portfolio, including traditional ATMs and Software, ATMaaS, Branch Transformation and other Payment and Network outsourcing solutions. Provides subject matter expertise and support for all solutions sales campaigns into targeted accounts.

  • Manages customer relationships and advocates for them to ensure all needs and requirements are identified and met; Key interface or liaison between the customer, sales support teams, manufacturing, product management and other internal resources regarding sales and services issues for current customers; Responsible for the customer's overall satisfaction with NCR Atleos.

  • Schedules and conducts regular customer meetings to discuss customer-specific issues, review performance/value, ongoing projects and positions product roadmaps and new solutions. Ensures that all outstanding invoices are current; Continually seeks to build and enhance enduring relationships with key customer contacts while working to achieve a thorough understanding of the customer's needs and issues; Escalates problems to the appropriate internal parties with appropriate urgency to ensure timely resolution.

  • Obtains customer or industry information that assists in responding to customer's needs and requirements; Capitalizes on industry knowledge and customer contacts to uncover future business opportunities; Responds to competitive threats to maximize customer retention rate; Understands the formal and informal decision-making process within each of the accounts.

  • Strategically designs a plan to effectively manage his/her territory in order to maximize incoming revenue and profits in order to meet annual quota objectives; Tracks the sales process through monthly forecast submissions for assigned accounts to quantify and qualify opportunities where NCR Atleos is best positioned to win; develops account plans to ensure mutual objectives of the relationship are realized; Builds customer commitment in order to accelerate activity through the sales cycle.

  • Applies consultative selling skills to deliver effective sales presentations at senior/executive levels; Incorporates a thorough understanding of industry trends and issues into sales presentations.

  • Leverages extended team members including post-sale delivery professionals, pre-sale technical professionals, and management to achieve business objectives.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, financial and/or technical discipline strongly preferred; 5- 8 years of related experience; financial industry experience a plus.

  • Proven success in solution sales environment.

  • Ability to effectively articulate the value proposition of a complex technology solution.

  • Demonstrated ability to understand sales barriers and overcome initial technology hurdles to close business.

  • Customer first oriented approach.

  • Strong teaming skills and demonstrated proactive leadership.

  • Excellent written/oral communication and presentation skills.

  • Track record of sales success in attaining quota objectives, managing account relationships and developing new opportunities.

  • Ability to be in the field and travel to customers' locations as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Highly preferred to have prior experience in selling any the following solutions is a plus: ATMs and related products, Branch Transformation, SaaS Solutions and Managed Services/Outsourcing.

  • Understanding of the Financial industry and solutions, or similar applications and technology.

  • Experience in selling software/applications/SaaS a plus.
