Smaller construction company with an accounting department of 8 individuals is seeking a staff accountant to join the team. Although the role is in Great Falls, SC, the company's work from home policy is every Friday and every other Thursday after the training period and understanding of the company is completed. The role comes with benefits which includes medical, dental, vision, and 401K 100% match up to 4% of salary. Responsibilities

• A minimum of 1-3 years full cycle accounting experience

• Outgoing, energetic, motivated, personable, team player/builder

• Ensure accurate coding of invoices and processing and set up new accounts

• Support the business with month, quarter, and year end closing tasks

• Document standard and non-standard journal entries

• Bank and Credit Card Reconciliations

• Perform general cost/revenue and service analysis

• 2-3 years of progressive Accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry

• Understanding of GAAP

• Administrative support for CFO and Controller

Skills

• General Ledger (2 years of experience is required)

• Journal Entries (2 years of experience is required)
