Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a US Key Account Sales Representative for a Canadian-based animal feed corporation. The successful applicant will be expected to increase sales and provide company representation to a base of currently active accounts. A daily focus will be on the importance of maintaining a solid vendor & retailer relationship. Other expectations include: promoting the company brand in a professional manner, present line review recommendations to expand listings, develop and present account promotional plans to maximize flyer/offshelf activity, set up displays and POS material, introduce new products to retailers, and provide pricing recommendations to customers to maximize sales/margins. Additionally, developing an understanding of existing and new products available to the customer base and training the retailer about the features and benefits of company products. Some account prospecting and new account development is expected as well.

Skills and Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of strong record of achievement with regional/national retailers and distributors

• Previous experience in the Farm & Feed Industry, Lawn & Garden Products or other CPG Manufacturers.

• Highly motivated, self-disciplined individual with a strong work ethic

• Outgoing, Personal and Honest

• Must enjoy working with existing customers

• Computer Skills including Microsoft Office; Outlook, Excel, Word and Powerpoint

• Must own reliable car with good gas mileage

• Travel required

• Ability to work on weekends for events such as trade and consumer shows will be required null
