Spectrum is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a Journeyman Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mechanical systems and components for various projects. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the successful completion of engineering tasks and contribute to the overall success of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and test mechanical components and systems.

• Perform calculations and simulations to ensure the mechanical integrity and performance of products.

• Create technical documentation such as engineering drawings, specifications, and reports.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine project requirements and develop solutions.

• Conduct research and stay updated on industry trends and advancements.

• Participate in design reviews and provide input for improving designs and processes.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

• Support the manufacturing and production teams during product implementation.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering.

• Proficient in CAD software and other relevant engineering tools.

• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and best practices.

• Experience with mechanical testing and analysis.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

• Detail-oriented and able to work independently.
