We are seeking an Accounting Manager to join our team in Houston, Texas. This role will be focused on managing our cash forecasting needs, financial reporting for the overhead company, and wider accounts payable. The Accounting Manager will lead a team and require a detail-oriented individual capable of efficiently managing multiple tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily management of cash position and forecasting for the companies

• Redeem cash investments to meet short-term obligations as needed

• Ensure cash is accurately recorded in the general ledger

• Review financial reporting, audits, and budgets for the overhead company

• Manage month-end close for direct reports

• Review bank fee analysis and prepare interest income projections for quarterly reporting

• Oversee the accounts payable team

• Ensure adherence to all internal control requirements

• Complete special projects as assigned

• Use Accounting Software Systems and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning in performing accounting functions

• Utilize skills in Accounts Payable (AP), Auditing, Treasury, Treasury Management, Treasury Operation, and Financial Reporting.

Requirements • Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role within the accounting field.

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is a must.

• Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is required.

• The candidate should be well-versed with various Accounting Functions.

• Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP) is a necessity.

• Expertise in Auditing is expected.

• The candidate should have knowledge and experience in Treasury functions.

• Experience in Treasury Management and Treasury Operation is required.

• The candidate should be able to conduct Financial Reporting with accuracy and efficiency.
