JOB SUMMARY

Kemps Dairy has immediate job openings for adaptable Machine Operator in our Blowmold department to perform an array of functions including maintaining, breaking down and setting up equipment and machinery, while troubleshooting and resolving basic to moderate operating issues. Machine operators will be responsible for processing finished or raw materials, while following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and communicating effectively with all departments and meeting daily deadlines.

SCHEDULE: M-S, Rotating days off, 4PM – Finish, 45 hours a week

Pay: $24.07 per hour

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • 6 months related experience required.

  • Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

  • Must be able to able to stand, walk, push or pull a majority of the day.

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

  • Must be able to work in a wet environment with some exposure dust, gas or fumes.

  • Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays.

  • Be able to effectively work in a team environment.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

  • Must be able to pass all pre-employment screens (including drug, background and criminal checks)
