Description

We are offering the opportunity for a skilled Junior Staff Accountant to become a part of our team located in Jacksonville, Florida, United States. This role will require the candidate to handle a variety of accounting tasks, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger management, Journal Entries, Month End Close, and Bookkeeping. The position offers a contract employment opportunity and will require proficiency in Sage Intacct.

Responsibilities:

• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks.

• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.

• Manage the general ledger and make necessary journal entries.

• Handle month-end close processes.

• Perform bookkeeping tasks, ensuring accurate record keeping.

• Be capable of working within an environment that provides general guidance, without the need of constant supervision.

• Collaborate effectively with other departments and lines of business.

• Ensure financial accuracy in all tasks.

• Be detail-oriented in all aspects of work.

• Maintain a proactive approach towards tasks, asking questions when necessary to ensure clarity and understanding.

Requirements

• Proficiency in using Sage Intacct software is mandatory

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Adherence to confidentiality and high ethical standards

• Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
