Job Title: Welder

Job Description

As a Welder, you will play a key role in the construction of safe rooms. Your responsibilities will primarily involve MIG welding, with some TIG welding as well. You will be required to build wall panels, weld, install drywall, paint, and perform various other tasks. You will be using both hand and power tools to measure and cut materials. Your time will be evenly split between welding and other tasks within the shop, with a significant portion of your initial time devoted to panel building. Working in teams of 4-6, you will construct these rooms based on provided drawings, for which you will receive training on how to read. Proficiency in reading a tape measure down to the 16th is crucial.

Work Environment

You will be working in a smaller, open-air shop as part of a diverse team. The role does require travel, with approximately three trips per year, each lasting about two weeks.
