Job Overview
The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for performing all functions necessary to maintain accurate inventory, by cycle counting, performing other miscellaneous audits and investigation of count discrepancies. This position requires a strong reliance on count accuracy, process control, product monitoring, movement coordination and reporting in order to control inventory.
A Day In The Life
Perform cycle counts and miscellaneous inventory audits to ensure all inventory is accounted for and reported according to company policy
Ensure products are in proper locations, conduct searches to locate missing inventory
Investigate and correct discrepancies in reported quantities and locations of all inventory
Research and perform root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and recommends process improvements
Conduct third party vendor audits to agree quantity and part number for received material
Execute assignments accurately and timely in a safe manner
Prepare various reports relative to the cycle counting process
Other duties as assigned.

Excellent math and analytical skills to include addition, subtraction, multiplication
Understanding of basic inventory control procedures
Good work attendance record required
Computer experience in Microsoft Excel is desired
Knowledge of SAP WMS preferred
Ability to use all warehouse equipment
Requires High School Diploma or equivalent
High Attention to detail
Strong independent worker
Self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Adhere to all company policies, housekeeping and safety procedures and guidelines.
