Location Description Post Consumer Brands corporate headquarters in Lakeville, Minn. is about 20 miles south of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Lakeville has all the benefits of smaller town living with access to everything a large metropolitan area has to offer. Responsibilities Due to internal promotion, we have an opening for a Brand Marketing Specialist for our Pet Mainstream/Value brands including 9 Lives, Kibble n’ Bits, and Gravy Train. In this role, you will lead in-market performance analysis, new product and core renovation execution, and cross-functional team leadership/collaboration/project management. You must be comfortable working with data and cross-functional teams and juggling multiple projects and priorities. We are looking for candidates who are driven with a strong bias for business results and who are excited to be working in Pet! Responsibilities: Analyze and report in-market performance across multiple businesses using Nielsen, IRI, and other data as needed to better understand consumer behavior to ultimately influence business decisions (forecasting, consumer spending, strategy/plan shifts, etc) Execute new product launches and core renovation projects concurrently in conjunction with the project management team, while representing the voice of the consumer Effectively manage project timelines and cross-functional team meetings to ensure flawless execution. This includes the timely publication of meeting notes and action registers as well as effective budget management and timelines. Work collaboratively with cross functional teams, customer teams, and external resources Ensure post-project reports are completed and/or shared with appropriate teams. Learn about and understand our consumer targets to build empathy & intuition Understand fundamentals of and execute against 4 P’s. Perform other functions or services as required or assigned. Qualifications Education: BA required Requirements: Recent college graduate or new to brand marketing; 0-2 years of experience in marketing, integrated marketing communications or other relevant business management experience. Previous Internship experience preferred. Critical/analytical/strategic/creative thinking; ability to communicate effectively, organize, prioritize, and work along with cross-functional teams with strong project management skills. Motivation, decision-making, analytical problem solving, and results orientation. Work Structure: Reports to and takes work direction from the Brand Manager Internal: Contact all functional areas in the corporate office and operations facilities to develop systems and plans to drive business.
