ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Security Monitoring and Incident Response:

  • Actively monitor security alerts using End-Node-Protection, SIEM, CASB, and SOAR platforms and promptly respond to potential threats.

  • Participate in real-time incident response activities, collaborating with the senior members of the team to analyze and mitigate security incidents effectively.

Vulnerability Assessment:

  • Execute vulnerability assessments and penetration testing tools to identify and assess security weaknesses.

  • Contribute to the development and execution of remediation plans to address identified vulnerabilities in a timely manner.

Security Awareness:

  • Assist in creating and delivering targeted cybersecurity awareness training materials for employees.

  • Contribute to the development of engaging content, including newsletters and interactive modules, to enhance overall security awareness within the organization.

Security Policies and Procedures:

  • Actively participate in the refinement and documentation of cybersecurity policies and procedures.

  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with established security standards, industry regulations, and legal requirements.

Security Research:

  • Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats, exploits, and vulnerabilities through continuous research.

  • Contribute to the creation of threat intelligence reports and provide insights on emerging cyber threats to enhance proactive defense measures.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE/ EDUCATION: (Minimum Education and/or Experience required)

  • Windows Workstation OS (Windows 10. 11)

  • Technical Skills: Well-rounded technology experience, including a basic understanding of networks, operating systems, and security fundamentals.

  • Vulnerability Scanning experience.

  • Problem-solving: Strong analytical skills with a knack for problem-solving and critical thinking.

  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical issues in a clear and concise manner.

  • Adaptability: Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment, handling various tasks and challenges.

  • Passion for Learning: A true passion for technology and cybersecurity, with a drive to continuously learn and grow in the field.

  • Education: Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

  • Basic networking concepts

  • Security or CASP

  • Hybrid (3 days office, 2 WFH).

  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

  • Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.
