New York Life is a relationship-based company and appreciates how both virtual and in-person interactions support our culture.This role is hybrid: Only 3 days per quarter required in the officeKey Responsibilities- Design and implement core networking infrastructure, hybrid connectivity, application delivery services, and private access to Azure services 2.- Drive the planning and design of strategic initiatives that require architecture oversight and guidance.- Build solutions within an Agile environment with other engineers, developers and product owners to scope, develop, engineer, and provide support for one or more of the C4Es.- Develop and deploy Microsoft *Azure OpenAI related solution services for several critical business functions.- Research, understand and apply existing, new, and emerging technologies and trends to determine their potential impact on technology domains.- Translate the enterprise's technology future-state architecture vision into principles, guidelines, standards, and patterns to ensure alignment with broader strategic goals.- Own and drive the Enterprise Architecture governance process and influence decision making for senior technology leaders by leveraging research and fact-based recommendations for various domains.Experience- 5 or more years of experience in developing and integrating applicationsusing relevant software architecture principles and patterns.- Real work experience in an enterprise corporation deploying: - Core network infrastructure - Hybrid connectivity - Application delivery services - Network Security - Terraform (a plus) - Azure Monitoring- Broad technical experience and understanding of multiple disciplines, including Hybrid Cloud architecture approaches, Azure IaaS, PaaS, container strategy, serverless compute, storage, migration approaches, FinOps, and Cloud automation.- Experience with automation and orchestration, infrastructure and operations, enterprise integration, application architecture, cybersecurity architecture with respect to Hybrid Cloud and external hosting best practice.- Experience in utilizing architectural frameworks and working with enterprise architecture tools.- Work experience in software engineering, software delivery and solution architecture.Required Skills- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert Certifications (highly desired)- Excellent Customer Service skills - Can convey complex and technical issues to diverse audiences, orally and in writing, in a manner that is easily understood, authoritative, and actionable for the business; actively listens to peers' input.- Experience with automation and orchestration, infrastructure and operations, enterprise integration, application architecture, cybersecurity architecture with respect to Hybrid Cloud and external hosting best practice.- Collaborate effectively with other senior architects, support personnel and SN Managers within the organization.- Working experience delivering enterprise grade Azure solutions for large organizations- Experience in utilizingarchitectural frameworks and working with enterprise architecture tools.SF: Li-CC1SF: LI-PC1Salary range:$132,500-$197,500Overtime eligible:ExemptDiscretionary bonus eligible:YesSales bonus eligible:NoClick here to learn more about our .
