BASEBALL/SOFTBALL UMPIRE

CLOSING DATE: Open until Filled

PAY RATE: Starting at $14.09 to $16.82, depending on experience

SCHEDULE: The season starts April 17th and ends July 11th for Softball and July 17th for Baseball

DEPARTMENT: Recreation

JOB SUMMARY

Umpire baseball or softball games for the Lehi Recreation Youth Leagues.

• Games are played Monday through Thursday with rainout makeup games held Friday's and Saturday's, as needed.
• As an umpire you would be in charge of the play for the field to which you are assigned.
• You oversee participant safety and fair play.

RESPONSIBLITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 16 years of age.
• Prior experience as an umpire is preferred.
• You will need to have a flexible work schedule due to games that will start at 5:00 p.m. on weekdays.
