  • Consistently receive and record all icoming service and information calls in the log report.

  • Provide vigilant monitoring of the operational status of the Passenger Boarding Bridges, custodial, landscaping, facilities related issues and dispatch appropriate personnel to fix any system jams, alerts, alarms, faults, malfunctions, and/or outages.

  • Ability to understand the physical system layout and associated controls functionality in order to efficiently manage daily operations.

  • Complete discrepancy report when there in a major incident impacting operations.

  • Aptitude to deploy proper contingency plans and protocols during emergency situations and events as required due to system outages and/or malfunctions.

  • Monitor make-up assignments and overall system statistical reports.

  • Provide quality customer services in communicating and collaborating with the Airlines to obtain and process current flight schedules.

  • Respond to operation inquires, complaints and issues interfacing directly with the user Airlines, Airport, TSA, ACH and other stakeholders.

  • Initiate operational decisions for any backup/fallback procedures necessary by implementing necessary measures to allow for continuous operations.

  • Ensure smooth daily start-ups by reviewing and verifying completion of the start-up check procedures and processes.

  • Oversee the CMMS database including work order entry duties and other associated responsibilities including generate, develop, process, review, and distribute reports.

  • Assist the Supervisor and Site Manager with preparing and generating reports to analyze system performance trends, but not to interfere with the primary duty of system monitoring.

  • In case of emergencuy, contact all airport tenants in terminals as required and follow emergency protocol.

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

  • Maintain the confidentiality of all information pertaining to airport operations.

  • Comply with company safety program and trainings.

  • Ability to work productively and cohesively in a diverse and multicultural environment.

  • Perform other duties as assigned or needed.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of a Dispatcher, the employee is regularly required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close proximity vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or fell objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The work environment is similar to airport operation with vehicular traffic. The employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, cold, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
