JOB REQUIREMENTS: Pharmacy Technician Specialist East Madison Hospital - 29429 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Work Schedule : 100% FTE, AM shifts with some PM shifts. AM Shifts vary from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM. PM Shifts vary from 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM. Weekends and holiday rotation. 1 in every 4 weekends required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. Pay : * External hires may be eligible for up to a \$3000.00 sign on bonus. We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician Specialist to: * Be an exceptional teammate, taking the initiative to jump in and help without being asked. * Provide expertise in a variety of pharmacy technician duties, work both in inpatient and outpatient settings * Have a high level of accountability to the work. You must be self motivated and driven to complete the work in a timely manner to achieve our goals of high quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have prior hospital experience. Certification is preferred, but not required. Licenses and Certifications : Minimum - As defined by the enactment of 2021 WI Act 100, all candidates hired into this role on or after March 1, 2023, must apply for registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the WI Dept of Safety and Professional Services (\"DSPS\"), and provide proof of application to their UW Health Recruiter prior to their start date. Failure to do so will result in delay of start date or withdrawal of offer. Current incumbents or those starting in an impacted role prior to March 1, 2023, are required to provide proof of application to their department designee no later than March 31, 2023.
