Here, you will make an impact by:Develop sales strategies and adjust to meet changing market and competitive conditions for complex product lines.Demonstrating to customers how to use products and how they will add value to their company.Collaborating with distribution centers and customers to ensure end user needs are met, materials are approved, and communication is consistent and clear between all parties.Presenting relevant information and products to customers in face-to-face presentations as well as phone calls or e-mailsWork cross functionally with other business disciplines.Manage a dynamic territory to drive growth with multiple divisions products.Implement and execute on business priorities.Deliver forecast attainment and CRM execution.Support and engage channel, end users and key accounts with daily sales calls on medium and large customers, corner office meetings, and production floor interaction.Prepare and conduct presentations/product demos at distributor partner and end user customer locations (business reviews, product trainings, etc.).Daily account management using Salesforce.com.Collaborate with 3M support network to maximize partnership with customers.Company VehicleThis position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position.Your Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelors degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution and three (3) years of territory sales experience in a market valuing over $1 million annuallyORHigh School Diploma/GED (completed and verified prior to start) and six (6) years of territory sales experience in a market valuing over $1 million annuallyANDCurrent, valid Drivers LicenseAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Three (3) or more years of territory sales experience in one of the following industries (Transportation, Consumer Goods, Electronics, Safety & Industrial)Experience collaborating and working cross functionallyTeam player with strong interpersonal and team building skillsSelf-starter open to running projects that need process definitionKey account management experience working with multi location customersExperience calling on and managing corner office executive level relationshipsExperience managing a complex channel landscape within accounts over $1MPresentation skills, CRM (Salesforce.com), written and verbal communication, business planning, sales, and competitive testingExperience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint in a private, public, government or military environmentWork Location:Sales Te ritory: Remote Within USATravel: May include up to 50% domesticRelocation Assistance: May be authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being3M offers many programs to help you live your best life both physically and financially.
