Machine Operators are responsible for the day to day operation of the machines

Key Responsibilities Including but not limited to:

• Performs machine start-up and shut down
• Performs in process part checks
• Performs machine tool changes
• Monitors fluid levels in machine and refills as necessary
• Ensures work area is clean by using good housekeeping practices
• Maintains job rate
• Completes all supplied documentation for the job on a daily basis. Example - SPC, tool change, time report etc.
• Able to lift 45 pounds

Requirements

• Education - High School Diploma or GED required

Experience

• 1-year experience preferred as machine operator but can train candidates willing to learn
• Mechanical background is considered an asset
• Knowledge of basic tools including calipers, micrometers etc. is helpful
• Understanding of the decimal system

Job Type: Full-time

1st shift - 6am - 2pm

2nd shift -- 2pm to 10pm
