Job Description

This is full-time or possiable part time on-site role for a Plastic Welder/Fabricator at BKTS Inc located in Meadville, PA. The Plastic Welder/Fabricator will be responsible for performing welding and fabrication tasks related to plastic materials. The role involves measuring and cutting plastic material, operating welding equipment and small hand tools, ensuring quality control, and collaborating with team members to complete projects efficiently.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Plastic Welder/Fabricator or similar role (willing to train the right candidate)
• Strong knowledge and understanding of welding techniques and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Proficiency in using welding tools and equipment, such as extruders, hot air guns, and hand welders
• Knowledge of different types of plastic materials and their properties, Polypropylene in particular
• Attention to detail and quality-conscious mindset
• Ability to work in a team and follow safety protocols
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Effective communication and time management skills

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification
