Description

Robert Half is looking for a talented Accounts Payable Clerk in the Pembroke Pines area. The Accounts Payable Clerk has to have or pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.

Job Duties:

• Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents to ensure proper authorization and documentation.

• Accounts Payable Clerk needs to communicate with vendors regarding invoice discrepancies, payment inquiries, and other accounts payable-related matters.

• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.

• Process check requests, employee expense reports, and other payment requests.

• Accounts Payable Clerk must be able to prepare and process weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly payment runs, including checks, ACH transfers, and wire transfers.

• Ensure compliance with payment terms, discounts, and credit limits established with vendors.

• Assist with month-end close processes, including accruals and account reconciliations related to accounts payable.

  Requirements

Job Qualifications:

• Associates of Accounting, Finance or related field.

• Bilingual; English and Spanish

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills

• 1+ year in accounting role
