Job Description

We are looking for a self-motivated Mobile Developer to be part of our Zurn Elkay Connected Products Team with a focus on front-end web and mobile development. We need a developer who can turn raw data coming in from a connected smart product and turn that into an intuitive user experience which provides product performance insights to our customers.

He/she will have an impact in differentiating Zurn Elkay and optimizing customer operating environments, by utilizing smart products and industry leading technology to solve and avoid customer problems.

Key Accountabilities

• Design a great mobile User Experience (UX) that complements our current web applications.

• Develop mobile apps for iOS and Android.

• Participate in and contribute to all phases of the SDLC; strong communication skills for requirement gathering and analysis are essential.

• Run workshops to design and develop components, services, or applications that generate attainable customer value.

• Design and develop solutions to integrate smart product data output into data sources and services within Microsoft Azure.

• Support the full software development lifecycle, including the on-boarding of both Zurn Elkay employees and customers.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor degree in computer science, information systems or related field

• Minimum of 3 years web portal/application and mobile development experience with Angular, JavaScript, HTML5, C#.Net (Standard & Core), Xamarin, SQL Server, SAP PI, and Azure PaaS; a solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, software design, and OOP; 5 years of development / architecture experience is highly preferred.

• 2-3 years of experience with Agile development methodologies and storyboarding user experiences is required.

• Working knowledge of one or more key solution technologies including Angular, JavaScript, C#.Net, HTML5, Web services, APIs, MAUI, and Azure PaaS is required.

• Database design and development within Microsoft SQL Server and using Entity Framework Code First is required.

• Experience integrating with back-end business systems (SAP ERP, SalesForce CRM, Tableau Business Intelligence, and other SoA exposed platforms) into Xamarin mobile apps is required.

• Experience with object-oriented programming and design patterns is required.

• Experience with various version control systems such as VSTS is required.

• 3-5 years’ experience working on an eCommerce Web Team is highly preferred.
